Biography
Dr. Choudhery earned a BS (Hons) degree from the University of Punjab in 2007. He completed his Mphil and Doctorate in Molecular Biology (with specialization in regenerative medicine) from National Center of excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) in 2012. He completed a part of his research work in Professor David Harris’s Laboratory at College of Medicine, Department of Immunology, The University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. Dr. Choudhery was a Post-doctorate Fellow at the College of Medicine, Department of Immunology, The University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. In December 2012 he joined the faculty at the King Edward Medical University as an Assistant Professor in the Advanced Center of Research in Biomedical Sciences.
Research Interest
Dr. Choudhery’s research interests include stem cells and regenerative medicine, caloric restriction, tissue engineering, stem cell transplantation and gene therapy. He has published articles (papers and abstracts) in peer reviewed journals.
