Biography
Riad Taha Al-Kasasbeh holds an MS in Engineering Science and a PhD in Controlling of Biological and of Electronic Equipments. Currently, he is a Professor at Al-Balqa University. He is a member of professional organisations, an auditor for quality of research and education and co-author of over 80 papers (editions: Springer, IEEE, France Taylor, IASTED, etc.). He is also a Visiting Professor along with other universities such as Philadelphia University and Konstanz University (HTWG) , Germany. He was a research fellow of DFG at (HTWG). His research fields cover modelling and simulation of man machine systems, EEG signal processing,biomedical design instrumentation, biophysics and acupuncture

Biography
Ibrahim Abdulhalim is a professor in Electrooptic Engineering at Ben-Gurion University. He worked in the academic institutions and companies such as the OCSC in UC at Boulder, the ORC at Southampton University, the Thin Films Center of the University of Western Scotland, in KLA-Tencor where he was the lead inventor of optical scatterometry for CD and overlay measurements, Nova and GWS Photonics. His current research involves: LC devices, optical biosensors, optical imaging. He published over 200 articles, 2 books, 10 chapters and 18 patents. he acts as a Fellow of IoP and SPIE besides an associate editor for Journal of NanoPhotonics and Journal of Imaging.

Biography
Mari Carmen Horrillo Güemes received her PhD in chemistry from the University Complutense of Madrid in 1992. From 1993 to 1995 she was working at the Institute for Advanced Materials of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (Ispra, Italy). Since then she is a full time senior researcher at the CSIC, at this moment in the Instituto de TecnologÃas FÃsicas y de la Información (ITEFI), and she is working on R&D of bio and chemical microsensors and electronic noses for environmental protection, quality control of foods and security. She is author of over 100 publications in Journals of high impact index, and she has three patents in her field. She was member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the CSIC (2005-2008). She was head of the department of Gas and Surface technologies from 1999 to 2011
